Plastic Bank works through the following process:

1. Anyone above the age of 18 years old can register as a Plastic Bank member  through the PlasticBank® app
2. The member collects and sorts plastic waste at his/her house
3. Plastic Bank receives four types of recyclable plastics, namely PET, HDPE, PP, and LDPE 
4. The sorted plastic is brought to the nearest Plastic Bank collection branch, which can be found on the PlasticBank® app
5. At the Plastic Bank collection branch, the plastic will be weighed, and the member will receive cash based on the market value. On top of that, the member will also receive extra benefits on the PlasticBank® app
