🔐If you're a Plastic Bank member who has recently changed your GCash or Gojek account, it's important to unlink your old digital wallet to ensure smooth transactions and protect your personal information. This guide explains why and how to do it.

✅ Why Do Members Unlink Their GCash or Gojek Digital Wallet?

Members usually unlink their digital wallet when:

• They switch to a new GCash or Gojek number/account
• Their old digital wallet account has been deactivated or blocked
• They want to link a different digital wallet for future withdrawals or bonuses

Unlinking ensures that your funds and transactions are routed to the correct and active wallet.

🔄 How to Unlink Your GCash or Gojek Digital Wallet

To unlink your digital wallet, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Account Settings
   Log in to your app and navigate to your account or wallet settings. 
2. Tap on the “Cash out” button in the Profile page.
   You’ll see your currently linked GCash or Gojek digital wallet details.
3. Tap ‘Unlink this account’ 
   Confirm the unlinking action. You may be asked to verify your identity for security purposes.
4. Tap ‘Unlink this account’ to Confirmation
   Once unlinked, you’ll be notified that your digital wallet account has been successfully unlinked.

📌 What Happens Next?

• Contact your Branch or send an email to support@plasticbank.com to request the update of your digital wallet number on your Plastic Bank account.
• Provide the following information:
  • Your old digital wallet number
  • You Plastic Bank account full name
  • screenshot of your new digital wallet account in your name 
• Once the Plastic Bank team has updated your digital wallet number,
• You’ll be able to link your new digital wallet account by going to the same settings page and selecting “Link Account.”
• Before linking, ensure your new digital wallet account is fully verified and active to avoid any issues.

• Ensure that the old digital wallet account is no longer needed or accessible before unlinking.
• For security, never link someone else’s digital wallet account to your member profile.
